Joel Greenblatt (né le 13 décembre 1957) est un investisseur, gestionnaire de fonds spéculatifs et auteur américain. Il est le fondateur de Gotham Capital, qui a atteint des rendements annualisés d'environ 40% de 1985 à 2006, et est professeur à la Columbia Business School. Greenblatt est surtout connu pour avoir développé la stratégie d'investissement « Magic Formula », une approche systématique qui classe les actions en fonction du rendement des bénéfices et du rendement du capital.
